South Florida’s favorite family-friendly rail event is back! On Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tri-Rail’s Rail Fun Day will take over the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport Station in Dania Beach, bringing an afternoon packed with entertainment, games, and exciting activities.
A Day of Nonstop Entertainment
This year’s edition promises an immersive experience for kids and families alike. Attendees can dive into interactive games, live performances, arts and crafts stations, and face painting. Costumed characters will roam the event, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Young adventurers can hop aboard the Kid’s Choo Choo Train, while aspiring performers will get their moment in the spotlight during the South Florida’s Kids Got Talent Show. And, of course, everyone’s favorite Tri-Rail mascot, George Green, will be there to greet visitors.
Food, Prizes, and More
No festival is complete without great food! Food trucks will be on-site, serving up delicious options for every taste. Guests can also try their luck at various games and prizes, making every moment more exciting.
Getting There: Ride the Train!
Tri-Rail encourages attendees to take the train to the event. For the entire weekend, fares are just $5, and kids under 12 ride for free. As an added bonus, the first 200 ticketed riders who visit the Tri-Rail tent and present a valid February 22 train ticket will receive a special gift.
